The selection was made by the International Forum Design (iF), in cooperation with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). An expert iF jury examined 147 entries from four different nations, selected 20 entries to receive the COMPUTEX TAIPEI design & innovation awards 2009 and finally chose five winners for the Gold Award.
