Taipei, Taiwan, December 22, 2008 - IBASE, a leading embedded computing manufacturer, releases another Intel® Atom™-based compact fanless embedded system, ASB200-882. The IBASE ASB200-882 is designed to fit the IB882 Intel® Atom™ 3.5" disk-size single board computer with Z510 or Z530 processor models running 1.1GHz on a 400MHz front side bus and 1.6GHz on a 533MHz front side bus respectively. Onboard with the 1.6GHz engine, the system offers supreme computing performance at remarkably low power consumption for small compact and mobile computing platforms.
The ASB200-882 features a chassis having black enclosure. Interfaces in front are for two USB and audio functions, while the rear has two USB, VGA, PS/2 keyboard/mouse, four COM ports, two LAN and a DC-in jack. The 240mm by 54.8mm by 162mm system also comes with a 2.5" HDD, desktop or wallmount mounting and an 80W AC adaptor. Samples are now available.
